Banana Reese's Smoothie Recipe

Hey everyone! Today I'm bringing you another tasty smoothie recipe.  I know some of us are trying to be as healthy as possible but a sweet treat ain't so bad every now and then right?  This smoothie has the flavor to satisfy your sweet (or chocolate) cravings.  I liken this to a banana smoothie recipe but with a twist. As usual, I made this with my Nutri Bullet but provided amounts for you as well. Keep on reading for this Banana Reese's Smoothie recipe!

Ingredients // 1 cup of milk (I used coconut), 1 banana or 1 ¾ depending on the size, and 1 tbsp of Reese's Chocolate Peanut Butter spread. This spread is very subtle, not too too sweet and just the right amount of chocolate to PB ratio. Since this will act as your "sugar" adjust the serving to your liking.  And lastly my fave, cinnamon! You can skip this ingredient if it's not your thing.

First, start by slicing up your banana.

I already had the milk measure out in the Nutri Bullet cup so I just added the sliced banana's to it. You can add ice or use a frozen banana to make it really cold. Then add the tablespoon of the Reese's chocolate peanut butter spread and sprinkle a bit of cinnamon. Blend until smooth which is about a minute or so.

You know I had to use my mason jar right? lol.  I like to add a tad more cinnamon on top before drinking. And voila! You're done! Easy right?  I'm all about simplicity.  Sometimes you don't need a ton of ingredients to whip something together.

The Reese's spread was not as sweet as I thought it would be and makes for a great spread on fruit, pretzels or bread. But I wanted to try it in a smoothie since I tend to have a sweet tooth at times and just want chocolate so bad but don't want to be bad ya know? So when those cravings come along this is what you can grab without feeling guilty about "cheating" on your diet.

If you give this recipe a try let me know how it goes and I hope you like it!

Xo♥
