URBAN SKIN RX PRODUCTS YOU NEED FOR ACNE + DISCOLORATION

Sometime last year I was introduced to a new (to me) skincare line that catered to women of color and let me tell you, I was super excited to try it out! My foray into my love affair with Urban Skin Rx began with the 3-in-1 Clear Skin Cleansing Bar, Even Tone Super Glow Serum, and the Purifying 2-in-1 Pumpkin Pore Detox Mask & Scrub.

My Urban Skin Rx collection has since grown and naturally, I have some absolute favorites. Acne is always a concern as is controlling oily skin, however, now that I am 35+ the skin discoloration due to acne spots and other forms of hyperpigmentation have risen to the top of the list. Right now I’m all about treating and preventing breakouts (dam you maskne!), brightening and fading dark spots, and yea, an overall texture-free glowy skin. And when I say “glow” I mean a healthy natural glow, not from oil, ok?

In my most recent YouTube video, I share my entire Urban Skin Rx collection, must-have products for oily skin, acne, skin imperfections, dark spots, etc. and I tell you what products I want to try next and why. I have had a solid year trying this line out so trust that I’m not just throwing products at you to spend your money on. I recognize and respect #budgetlife 👊🏽.  If you’re a long time reader then you know that I really test out beauty products before recommending them.

Coming to me soon are the Urban Skin Rx Clear & Even Tone Clarifying Glycolic Pads, the 3-in-1 Clear Skin Cleansing Bar, and the Retinol Rapid Repair and Dark Spot Treatment. I CANNOT WAIT TO GET THEM! I decided to hold off on the moisturizers because I already have two bottles from other brands and I’m trying to use up my products before purchasing more.

Have you tried Urban Skin Rx? If so, what are your favorite products?
