Trying to get your best skin ever? Totally achievable and not just with a bomb skincare routine, which is key, but with the right foundation too. If you are looking for a lightweight foundation with a natural finish, look no further because I am coming in hot with a recommendation!
Sephora Collection recently came out with their new foundation, Best Skin Ever, and the YouTube beauty bloggers are raving about it. I was intrigued, will this work on my oily acne-prone skin? If you have been wondering about this yourself, I’ve got answers.
I tried it for one full day, 12+ hours, with no primer or setting powder. To understand how a foundation feels and blends on the skin I like to try it without a primer first. That way, when I do use it with a primer and it is pilling or isn’t blending smoothly, I know it’s the primer. It passed the test!
After a full day, I honestly forgot that I was wearing makeup which is pretty rare for me. I hate the feeling of makeup and this was incredibly light, comfortable, and it looks like your skin. Here’s what you need to know about it:

On the Sephora website it says that with continued use, it helps to improve the overall appearance of the skin to reduce signs of stress and help the skin look and feel smoother and more radiant. And, the bottle is made from 30% recycled glass. We stan environment-friendly packaging!

In the video, I am using it in the shade 31 Y which is a tad bit too dark for me, but I recently picked it up in the shade 29 Y and it is the closest match for my winter complexion right now.
There is also a brush, the Makeup Match Foundation Brush, which retails for $16, that I didn’t have at the time of filming, but have since purchased it and it really does help with giving you that natural finish. I have never purchased a brush that was specifically designed to be used with the foundation so I was really excited to try this one, and I’m glad that I got it.
