Stylish Spring + Summer Bags Under $50

There are so many accessories that I am really digging right now. Spring has been off to a slow start here in New York but that's ok, summer is right around the corner. In fact, since it's Memorial Day weekend it's HERE! From sunglasses (my collection is unreal--stay tuned!), to bags or footwear, I can't help but indulge (just a tad) in the latest trends.

The right handbag can surely make or break an outfit so let's dive into the stylish spring and summer bags under $50 that you need. 
 

STRAW BAGS

For as long as I can remember I have always loved a great straw bag. It's denim and never goes out of style. The updates to this beachy staple have since grown into streetwear design that you just can't help but fall in love with. 

ROUND BAGS

Right up there with the straw bags are these round bags, the straw bags especially I have had me eye on for dam near a year. Finding an affordable one was my struggle but alas, I found a few I love and that I think you will too. The circle straw bag is one in particualr that I wanted most. This one from Urban Outfitters is over $50 but still more reasonably priced compared to other places.

TRIANGLE SHAPED BAG

Can you tell yet that I have an affinity for shaped bags? 😂 I can't help it. It's such a unique way to add a statement piece to your look and a triangle shaped bag does just that!

FANNY PACK AKA BUM BAG

Alright, so I have to be honest and say that when fanny packs were making their comeback a few years I was NOT. HERE. FOR. IT!! It's funny how some trends just come back around. But I will say that I am open to at least trying out the trend but not with the dated looking ones--you know which ones I'm talking about! Something more minimal like this one from SheIn is more my style. The verdict is still out but I figured I'd add these bum bags (as they're called on some sites) because they are surely having a moment right now.

NEUTRAL BAGS

I just loved light colored bags for the spring and summer. A neutral shade, even white, is my fave with a basic outfit like denim and a t-shirt or a monochromatic look. A mix of textures is a style that I'm really loving right now. Got my eyes on this one. 

Translucent bags are BIG right now. You want it to look super stylish and cute and not like those required clear bags some employers require from their employees. I really like something like this, this, or this one!
