What To Wear On A Warm Fall Day

Floral dress with flare sleeves - NYC style blogger Miriam Morales

We are 2 weeks into October and the weather has gone from breezy and cool to suddenly 86º. And I had just put away my summer clothes too! But, as usual, I kept a few summer-to-fall pieces out that I could still wear during the unpredictable transition. This cute floral print dress from Zaful is perfect to wear on a warm fall day.

Floral Dress: c/o Zaful (similar) // Booties (old): PrimaDonna (love these) // Sunnies (old): Bebe (similar)

Initially, I planned on wearing the dress with tights or cute socks peeking out from the booties. That says fall right? Once I saw how warm it was outside I nixed that idea real quick! Talk about an Indian Summer. So bare legs and cute black booties it was, which is perfect for this look. Simple. Airy. Cute.

And comfortable. It's important for me to be comfortable in what I'm wearing; something I have realized as I get older. Long gone are the days when I'll wear something for the sake of fashion, (kinda) while being in pain or feeling uneasy. I sized up in this and although it was slightly big, a simple safety pin was enough to cover the breast area a bit.

The sizing at Zaful runs very small so definitely pay attention to the measurements listed for each item and if you need to, size up! I was also sent this geometric print bomber jacket in addition to this lightweight floral chiffon dress. Even though I ordered a size up (XL) it was still snug across the shoulder area; my trouble section! So I just draped it over my shoulders, because that's what bloggers do right? Ha!

I genuinely want to "love" these pieces in person as much as I did when I saw them online. Also, the clothing ad a really weird and strong scenet that was not pleasing. I kept them in plastic bags until I shot these looks because they stank up my entire room. While the pieces are definitely trendy and cute to look at, you do pay for what you get. So keep that in mind!
