MUST-HAVE AMAZON TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

Summer’s here and like many, you’re likely getting ready to go away on vacation. Whether you’re going on a mini getaway or boarding a plane to another state or country, these Amazon summer travel must-haves and Boohoo summer outfits are sure to get you ready to travel and layout on the beach.

TRAVEL MUST-HAVES packing cubes, travel containers

Some things I share in my video like the beach bag, a soft Turkish beach towel, and packing cubes. Since I don’t travel often using packing cubes was new to me but I have to say, I totally get what all the hype is about! I was able to fit so much in the largest cube. Also, silicone travel containers were perfect and I highly recommend the 14 pc set that I got. It came with accessories to help you transfer products into the containers which were helpful in transferring just the right amount. No spills, leaks, etc.

BEACH ACCESSORIES bathing suits + beach towel + beach bag + sunglasses

Unfortunately, due to the weather I didn’t get to hit the beach and put my new items to use. But that’s ok, I still have the rest of the summer to do that. I really wanted a flattering high-waisted two-piece bathing suit and I found a great one on Amazon! This is perfect for top and bottom heavy figures and is super flattering. Your a** will be covered, your breasts supported, and tummy area covered. I wanted a style like this in case I was bloated one day and wanted to feel comfortable. The lemon print design and bright yellow top screams summer and is in a shade that I think would look flattering on many skin tones.

For the one-piece, I knew I wanted a semi-sexy style as well as a simple basic one. Amazon came through again as did Boohoo (can they sponsor me already? Like, dam!). The purple Amazon swimsuit had amazing reviews and lots of pictures and let me tell you, it truly looks great on every body type. It reveals just the right amount of skin, holds everything in place, and is just sexy. The Boohoo ribbed swimsuit I got in petite sizing and is perfect for those of you under 5’3. It is doubled lined and sucks everything into place. It is rather thick and can be worn as a bodysuit, it definitely has that look and feel. The only thing I wish this had was more support on top, but other than that, I’m quite happy with how it fits and looks on me. Also, you can’t go wrong with a neutral color.

Now, I spent way too much time scrolling Amazon for a beach towel. I ultimately decided that a simple design and color would be best, not something that screamed SUMMER!, so I can also use it at a park for a picnic in the springtime. I landed on a super soft oversized Turkish towel with grey and tan colors. What I love most about it is that it is fast-drying, a detail I was looking for when I was doing research on beach towels.

For a beach bag, I really wanted a material and design that was easy to travel with, but also large enough to fit all of the beach essentials. I fell in love with mesh bags and found the perfect tan mesh beach tote with a pocket! It folds easily and can fit in your luggage without a problem.

Did I need another pair of sunglasses? No, absolutely not. However, one look at these GLINDAR men's polarized aviator sunglasses and I knew it was the missing style in my collection. I love how sturdy and secure they feel on my face. I’m sure you’ll fee the same way 😎

To play it safe, I picked up a few more pieces from Target and Boohoo. I found a pair of Women's High-Rise Frayed Hem Jean Shorts by Wild Fable. Not as much stretch as I would like but I loved the style and, most important, it covered my a**. I’m not here for the overly cheeky cuts out there!

A Boohoo tropical four-piece set caught my eye so much that it went from a nice to have to omg, I need it! It is very transparent so it works best as a bathing suit cover-up outfit. The bandeau doesn’t cover much and if you have a larger chest, this won’t work for you. I plan to take mine to the tailors to add a lining and maybe some breast support. The kimono is loose, comfortable, and the perfect length even for my 5 ft. frame. Pieces like this are ideal because you can always wear them with shorts, pants, skirts etc and get more wear out of them. And the matching head piece?! C’mon now! A win-win.

Because I didn’t know how the tropical 4-piece set would look or fit on me, I also picked up a basic kaftan cover-up in black. I thought I could also wear it as a dress out and about, but it has cuts on each side that will show your goods if you move a certain way. Still totally wearable with a simple pair of stretchy shorts.

And because I was trying to get free shipping (don’t judge me!), I snatched a purple chain print head scarf. I thought it would look great with the Amazon purple swimsuit.
