How To Transition Into Fall
Before you pack away your "summer clothes" think about which items you can still get some use out of for the next season. Transitioning into fall is easier than you think if you have key pieces. For me, these are boyfriend jeans, long-line vests, lightweight sweaters and dresses, tank tops etc. It's all about layering so you wan to keep the pieces of clothing you can layer with handy, that's how you transition into fall.
Since the possibility of some warm days during fall is highly likely so it the chance of a sudden drop in temperature. On this particular day I knew the temperature was going to be mild, slightly breezy, and I was going to be by the water which meant I needed something flexible.
Boyfriend jeans are ALWAYS a good idea. Trust me. I loved the rips in these JustFab boyfriend jeans and a lightweight, airy, bright coral sweater were the perfect pieces this day. If it got too warm (which it didn't) I had a tank underneath if need be. I'm a sucker for animal print and these snakeskin Call It Spring flats gave the look a lil boost.
I wore this look when my mom came to visit last month and we took her to Brooklyn of course! I seriously love Dumbo ♥
The process of packing away summer clothes is slowly underway and I'm making a conscious effort to keep those key layering pieces out. What's your advice for transitioning into fall?
