How To Wear Tiered Floral Dress

Surely I'm not the only one so over winter already! With the brief teases of warmer we had recently I certainly decided to get started on updating my spring and summer wardrobe (mini haul coming soon). Good thing I did because this week we're in for some gorgeous weather! This tiered floral dress from Forever 21 hit all the right marks: cute, versatile, pop of color, and within budget. ICYMI: I have a thing for yellow, all shades in the spectrum. When I think of adding a "pop of color" it's my #1 choice. In fact, what I loved most about this dress was the mustard colored floral print. Tiered tops or dresses are not typically my style but this one I actually liked and found it to be different.

And when I got this Coach bag, well, it was simply a match made in heaven. The day I shot this look it was looking quite beautiful, unexpectedy warm, clear skies. But of course as we started shooting it suddenly got very windy so I had to keep my skinny jeans on. Without meaning to I guess you can say I rocked the dress over pants trend. Never thought I'd do that!

This is just one way to style a peasant dress. Once it's officially bare legs season I'll be rocking the sandles and espadrilles with this one! Although it's long sleeved the fit is slightly loose and the material is light enough to feel airy even in higher temps.
