Rodial Skincare with Bee Venom Review

For the past few weeks, your product-junkie girl has been testing out some new products by Rodial. I’m all about skincare and that includes anything that will rewind time, tighten the skin, rejuvenate it and then some. Let’s not waste time. I know you want to get right into the details so let’s do this!

Rodial Skincare Bee Venom review - Beauty Blogger, Miriam Morales

Like I said, I’m not getting any younger but that doesn’t mean I have to look like it. The day and night body serum, which contains bee venom, helps to lift the appearance of skin with retinol, bee venom, and melittin peptide. Right after showering I slather this on and focus on my thighs, arms stomach, and buttocks (oh yes).

Rodial Bee Vemom Body Serum - NYC Beauty Blogger - Miriam Morales

After just about 2.5 weeks of use, I’ve noticed subtle improvements in the firmness of my skin, specifically behind the thighs/thigh area. Which I’m really excited about! Also, the overall texture is a lot smoother, softer, and healthier looking. I’m not allergic to bee stings but if you are then I don’t recommend this. However, as with any skincare product, it’s always best to patch test prior to use to be safe. Did I mention it smells lovely? Because it does.

Rodial Bee Venom Cleansing Balm Review - By Lifestyle Blogger Miriam Morales

The cleansing balm also contains bee venom (test patch first!), melittin peptide and other good for your skin ingredients like vitamin e & c, jojoba oil, and salicylic acid. I used this after cleaning my skin as a toner. It’s a cream that slowly turns into an oil-like texture as you massage it into the face and neck.

You can remove it with a muslin cloth or with warm water, which is what I did. After rinsing my skin was so incredibly soft and the next day it was visibly brighter and glowy. Salicylic acid is an ingredient I look for in skin care products because not only is it great for treating and preventing acne, but it’s also good for gentle exfoliation and retexturizing the skin.

Rodial Stem Cell Magic Gel Primer Pore Blurring Skincare - Beauty Review by Miriam Morales

To moisturize I’ve been so in love with the 10-in-1 Stem Cell Magic Gel. You guys, this stuff is magic! As a moisturizer, it absorbs into the skin quickly and if you want to use it as an overnight mask, just layer it up! The next morning your skin will be incredibly supple and hydrated. I definitely recommend using it as an overnight mask if you have dry skin. Ok, the real magic? It’s not just a moisturizer. This stem cell:

  • blurs the appearance of pores

  • smoothes the skin

  • lifts and tightens

... and can be used as a makeup primer. Yes, a primer, I tried it and it works. Also, it’ll give your skin a dewy glow without looking greasy if you know what I mean. So many benefits packed into one product! Plus, the packaging is perfection. It’s not a traditional pump put the one that you press down and the product comes up through the top. What I like about this particular design is that you get just the right amount from a single pump to moisturize, so you don't over-use it unless you want to of course!

Rodial Smokey Eye Pen - Makeup Review by Miriam Morales NYC Lifestyle Blogger

In addition to these skincare products, I was also sent two makeup products! First, their smokey eye pen in “brown” which is super creamy and lasts all day. It’s quickly become a favorite of mine to use in the lower water line. It’s the perfect shade of brown and great for daytime use without looking too harsh.

Rodial Light Reflecting Highlighter - Makeup Review - Miriam Morales NYC Beauty Blogger

The second makeup product is the Instaglam Highlighting Powder in the shade “02”. This light-reflecting definition highlighter is a must for those of you new to highlighting. It’s extremely subtle but very pretty. And the packaging is so beautiful!! Seriously, I spent so much time admiring the packaging before opening it up. The faux leather texture against the sleek silver compact found it’s way to my heart. It feels sturdy in the hands and as my boyfriend would say “heavy duty” LOL.

If you’re interested in trying any of these products I highly recommend them! Don’t forget to test patch the ones with bee venom first before use. Rodial can be found at Saks or Space Nk USA.
