AN EASY OUTFIT: LONG SLEEVE BELTED DRESS
Last month, in the spirit of gratitude, I hosted two giveaways for my people: readers, watchers, followers, but I like to call yall fam. Thanksgiving came and went and so did my intended outfit for the sala. I’m sure you have seen this all over the interwebs but the “joke” is that we get all dolled up for Thanksgiving (or any Holiday really) only to sit looking cute in the living room aka sala. Next up, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Years Eve perhaps??
Prior to the sala outfit taking off on Instagram I had been planning a shoot with my blogger pal Viancey on what to wear on Thanksgiving and out hashtag was #MySalaStyle. It’s a thing so look it up because I plan on building that sucker out, in true digital strategist style 😉
When it comes to an event or family function that involves lots of delicious food I tend to wear more casual flexible outfits, if ya know what I mean. For the shoot, however, I opted for a floral print mock neck belted dress from SheIn. To my surprise it fit perfectly and had the right amount of flare to hide a food baby. The detail in the sleeves is what got me and the print! If you are busty on top (or wide) the cut is fitted but not constricting. I was able to move and breathe freely which is so important for me as a petite curvy woman.

Christmas is 5 days away and I can’t believe we’re a little over a week away from welcoming a new year and decade!! It’s true what they say, time goes faster when you’re older.
