Why Don't Women Support Each Other?

One thing about me that you will learn if you haven't already from reading my blog, is that I truly love to support others, especially women and entrepreneurs, as much as I can, how I can. I think that's really important because far too often (which is sad) women just don't support one another as much as men do. What's up with that?

Though it's easy to believe that women support one another (thank you IG and the blogosphere) it's sad how frequently I hear others lament how that is not always true.  That was the case with Lanise who reached out to me via Twitter about her campaign. She was raising money to assist with self-publishing her self-help book and had reached out to other bloggers but nada.

Her t-shirt campaign featured several designs and hoodies that said GRIT = Success. GRIT stands for God, Resilience, Integrity, and Tenacity which I loved because it perfectly describes how I have overcome difficult situations or very challenging times. I also believe it's something that would resonate with others so I was more than happy to support and thus, share this message with you guys. Ultimately her goal is to inspire others that greatness is possible if you put in the work. Amen to that!

Let's not forget to support, empower, and inspire each other. Even if you are unable to financially show support to someone's endeavor's, simply sharing their message is an easy way to do that and I'm sure they'll be so grateful for that gesture.
