HOW TO WEAR THE TIE-DYE SPRING TREND

SIMPLE WAYS TO STYLE TIE-DYE PIECES

Happy #friyay 🤗. First, let me say that I am not taking Covid-19 lightly. It honestly freaks me out and I pray that everyone is doing their part to keep themselves as well as others safe. It’s hard to watch the news and it’s impossible not to. It’s weird. I think we’re all feeling something. Whether it be uneasiness, anxiety, worry, or extreme lows, I get it. I also know that that type of constant messaging can do a number on you so I choose to create. To keep creating and sharing the things I love to hopefully lighten up your day a little bit even if it’s just for 5 minutes.

With that being said, I took to writing a style piece because it’s been a minute and yesterday was the start of spring. Did you miss it? Yea, me too. It’s understandable. Despite what’s going on I am excited for the change in weather and an uptick in my mood. A sunny day makes me happy 😊and I’m also looking forward to elevating my wardrobe a bit. One spring trend I actually like is tie-dye. In pretty pastel colors and subtle hints I think it’s a really fun way to add some pizazz to your outfit.

If trying this trend seems out of your comfort zone, here are some simple and easy ways to wear tie-dye.

TIE-DYE ACCESSORIES & FOOTWEAR

I’ve mentioned this before but the easiest way to incorporate a trend you want to try out is with accessories! Even something as small as a tie-dye phone case or tie-dye earrings are all you really need to play with fashion.

TIE-DYE TOPS & SWEATERS

TIE-DYE LOUNGEWEAR & SETS

Don’t ask me why (probably because I’m a #homebody) but I am so into loungewear sets right now! I think they are a great way to look put together while chilling at home instead of the typical oversized sweats.

TIE-DYE DRESSES

If you recall my summer haul from last year I included a tie-dye lace-up maxi dress that I absolutely love (and have yet to wear). Cute spring tie-dye dresses make for an effortless casual style when worn with simple sandals or white sneakers.

Hope this gives you some fun ways to style the tie-dye trend this spring and summer!
